Paolo Giacometti meets Candida Thompson & Xenia Jankovic
On Friday October 22 Paolo will give an informal concert with the world-famous violinist Candida Thompson and cellist Xenia Jankovic in Het Bethanienklooster in Amsterdam. On this first occasion that these fine musicians meet they will treat the audience with the fantastic Piano Trio Op. 66 of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy en the second Piano Trio of Dmitri Shostakovich. The concert starts at 20.15 and the admittance for this special occasion is only € 10,-.

Dusseldorf, September 2010 - from this season Paolo Giacometti is the new piano professor at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Dusseldorf, Germany. Paolo started his teaching carreer in 2001 at the Conservatorium in Utrecht (the Netherlands) and gave a lot of national and international masterclasses, both as solopianist as for chambermusic.
